The cool mountain air nipped at my cheeks asI stood on the hill by the chair lift. Today was not my day I'm stuck here up at the lodge with a bunch of private school kids who are given everything on a silver platter. I overheard one girl who was talking about how she is going to spain for spring break its her second trip there, talk about privileged .
Lost in my thoughts I didn't even notice there was only a couple people left who were coming back down the mountain. The same guy that I'd met near the begging the one that possibly could be goodlooking was walking towards me. Looking at the mountain I tried to pretend that I didn't see him coming. Admiring the curvaceous land before me there was something I have nevernoticed before the tree line made a perfect H, for Hannah. Smiling to myself the boy approached, "Hey, I think everyone is going in now."
Turning towards him I replied, "Oh thanks for letting me know." I sighed and returned my eyesight to the pictureque vision infront of me. My stomach started to grumble, it must be close to lunchtime .
"It pretty, itsn't it?" he gushed while moving his head to the mountains before us. I turned to look at him, with out his goggles on and helmetI could see he was really good looking. He had the most amazing smile I've ever seen. His lips formed a perfect smile, his hazel eyes creased to form his happy expression.
"I'm used to it by now. But once and awhile it does blow me away."I murmered with my eyes no longer on the mountain.
"You live here, you mabye the luckiest person in the world" he said with envy. There hasn't been anyone that I have met, thatI wanted to get to know so badly so when he introduced himself as Hunter.
"I'm Hannah," I introduced myself "How long is your school staying in little Canmore?" I prayed he would be staying longer than a couple of days but with my luck all hope would be lost."Were staying a week. Following were going to Vancouver, its supposed to be nice this time of the year" the named boy now spoke with a friendly tone. There was no way for me to know if I was winnining him over or not. When he said, "Want to go and get some lunch" I knew I would get more time with him to do so.
"Well if its okay with your school you can come to the my families pub with me, we have the best poutine in the city" I stammered. Hopefully I sounded incontrol instead of nervous out of my mind.
